I hear the 314.22 drivers are the most stable out of any other nvidia driver.

What's with that being said?

This only applies to the 400 and 500 series. Any driver past 314.22 will freeze or crash the PC.

314.14*.
314.21 introduced instability in several games to provide some small half-fixes to Tomb Raider. 314.22 fixed a bug with that. Everything thereafter had pretty serious stability issues.

I blame Tomb Raider for being a broken mess.

So if i have 560 Ti's, would it be best just to revert down to 314.22?

If you aren't having problems, don't worry about it.

I have the same card in the family prebuilt, and when I upgraded to 327.23 the monitor would go to sleep periodically and I would have to turn it off and back on a few times. It turned out the problem was because the display driver was crashing.

I ended up rolling back to 314.22 and haven't had a problem since.

I still maintain that the fault is on specific hardware subsets and not with the drivers. Otherwise you'd expect repeatable issues across the entire family of cards from those generations.

Possible. But it seems like a longshot given the number of different manufacturers for each model. Unless the reference design was flawed to begin with.

I have a 560Ti 448 core on driver version 331.58 and I haven't had any problems, it seems to be just some people that run into problems. So if you don't run into any problems use the newest drivers.
