Budget: $50 US
- Illuminated (preferably blue but I can deal otherwise)
- Must be wired
- Must be normal sized keys (no low profile or laptop type keys)
- No big ass wrist rest. (It can have a little one but the smaller the better)
- Not mechanical
- I don't need macro keys or any other bells and whistles.

This is the front runner so far unless someone has a better suggestion:

Get the G105, just make sure it's the normal one and not the one with green LED.

Red, Blue and Purple.

So if you are patriotic and play Planetside 2, it has you covered.

WHY?

Other than budget of course.

I'd be remiss if I didn't mention it anyway.
The Deck Legend is the best backlit mechanical in existence if you don't mind Black or Clear switches. It's also the only illuminated keyboard of any type where the lettering will never rub off, ever. My laptop for example, WASD are basically big holes with light coming through.

It's a $172 keyboard though. But it weighs 3.5-4 lbs. and is easily the highest quality board I've ever used.

I'm guessing that's why. You're a little over the $50 budget. And I'm sorry, but $172 for a keyboard sounds ridiculous.

I dig the main keyboard part but I'm not a fan of the chunk of real estate to the left. A little too bulky.

ISKU Roccat.

I like this but the price is too high and plus I'm not sure if the giant wrist rest is removable.

I don't like mechanical keyboards because I don't like the clicky sound. And yes the price is outragous for me. Maybe it would be worth it if I was a secretary and typing all day but I do go outside once in a blue moon ;) It does look bad ass though.

Razer blackwidow

Looks nice but it's out of my price range and I don't like mechanical.
