Need help choosing PSU

#1alons1293Posted 10/29/2013 7:26:07 PM
I will build a gaming PC with an Intel Core i5-4670K and either a R9 280x or a GTX 770. Now, I dont know how many watts I need for this. I plan to overclock the CPU, so I dont know if a 600w can even handle it, or if I will need at least a 750w one.

But well, if you guys have any recommendations I would appreciate it, Im looking to get a modular one and if possible spend no more than $90-$100 for it.

A good 650W can handle that setup + a second video card. If you have no plans to use two video cards, get yourself a good 550W unit and you're all set.

500W seems to be about standard right now. Just make sure you get a good quality PSU.

Where do you live? Rosewill is a Newegg brand so as far as I know you'll only find Rosewill products in North America. Guess you're fine if you're in Canada :)

If it's a good 600W unit, yes, easily. Which unit are we talking about? Cooler Master units are very hit or miss.
