So, is Sapphire the best ATI card manufacturer?

I favor HIS, myself. They don't seem to have one for the new cards, yet, but they made a really good blower fan cooler for the 7870 and 7950.

Once we perfect building Mechs, I expect there to be a factory in Mexico pumping out a brand call Mechsican. I wanna buy me a Mechsican.

Yea I have a Vapor-x 5750 from them and it's still chilly after 3 years, 40C idle, 70C load and it's silent to boot

A bit wary on msi.
Excellent cards, but did they ever fix the fan issue?

I'd like to know this, too.

Asus, MSI

wouldn't touch any other brands personally.

I would prefer HIS, 3 of my cards in possesions from generations are made from HIS, and they are working fine.

For the R9 280x, Sapphire has the best cooling and that is not counting the triple fan one, but the Asus cards are quieter, albeit heavier. HIS cards are cheaper here for some reason. MSI one is good, but it has faulty fan bios, so you have to manually set it to 60%, it is still the quietest one out there. XFX one is slightly noisier than the Asus Matrix card, but has the same cooling performance without eating up 3 slots.

After a bad spell a few years back with a sapphire x1950 (overheating VRMS), a refusal on an RMA and ignorant and arrogant ***** on their support forums, I'll never buy sapphire again
