Am I the only PC gamer who doesn't use mods?

jk, but in all honesty why not? It furthers the playability of a game.

It depends on the game, something like Torchlight 2 I don't understand why people use mods, it's a game that requires you to play long hours and collect items, yet people are modding drop rates and such.

well those aren't the right kinds of mods. The right kinds are immersive mods that fix, change or add crap. Those are the mods you get.

It depends on the game

So does that mean you've used mods before or using mods currently on other games?

I used to be like that... Developers vision and all that but then I played STALKER vanilla... Just about gave up due to all the bugs and such. Also as I get older I don't have time to play games multiple times so I tend to mod in things that I enjoy. Generally speaking I try not to 'cheat' or add anything that drastically changes the vanilla experience, but I do occasionally add in convenience mods. Things that save a few load screens or improve inventory management for instance.

I don't see why you wouldn't want to try a few mods here and there. Some mod packages really breathe new life into the games you already enjoy.

Frankly I don't even see a point to the whole "play unmodded first" thing. If a game can be improved, why not improve it? If a game is broken and it can be fixed, why not fix it?
