How many of you have made physical modifications to your PC?

Whether it be painting it or adding screw holes, how many of you have done that?

I took on a simple project today; drilling in some screw holes on my Phantom 410 so I could mount a H110 in it. I was always kind of intimidated by projects like this.

Case nodding shouldn't be necessary for that. The cooler itself is mounted with backplate hardware behind the motherboard.

The radiator goes directly behind the rear fan, so it should be using the fan screw holes I believe.

Case nodding is sometimes needed when you mount large radiators in the top of certain cases for example.

Not quite sure I follow, but modding was definitely needed, as NZXT used their own spacings for the 140mm mounts. It was easy though, just added screw holes where needed.

I made fan ducts out of cornflakes boxes when my GPU fan failed, only whilst waiting for the replacement though. I actually have a bit still in there, to stop the intake fans from pumping air down the back of the case.

The replacement GPU fan is also held on by snap ties.

I taped a model of the USS Enterprise-A on top of my PC. Easily puts all yours to shame.

I made a case window for an old Antec 300, didn't turn out too bad.

The headphone jack in my case broke, so I took a jack from an old HP pc and fit it as replacement, none of the connections matched and was the wrong size, so it took quite a bit of work to make it work.
