will xbox one controller work with pc when it releases?

i know microsoft said they're going to release proper drivers early next year that utilizes all of it's new features like trigger vibration, but if i just want to have standard 360 controllers will it work on nov 22?

I'm sure someone will throw together some working drivers before MS releases the official ones anyway. Until then I'm still fine with my 360 pad/PS3 controller.
