Trying to use a Dualshock 4 on my PC, right analog stick doesn't work...help!

I've used motion joy for my dualshock 3 on my PC and it worked fine, but it had a lot of spyware on it so I got rid of it.

The Dualshock 4 was supposed to be "plug and play" with PC, and it is. It works. However the default "USB controller" for Windows doesn't appear to have a right analog stick. When I'm playing Mark of the Ninja, the right stick doesn't register when I try to move the camera around. Instead, R2 seems to move the camera down when I hold it, but that's it.

What should I do?

Can't I just download the drivers for the 360 controller and pretend my DS4 is a 360 controller? Mark of the Ninja thinks it is anyway. And I remember motion joy for my DS3 had a setting to get the computer to think it was a 360 controller, which enabled vibration for it.

Use a program called xbox360ce

You have to configure it for every game you play that requires an Xbox 360 controller, but it allows any controller to emulate the 360 pad

If you believe in Allah and are 100% proud of it, put this in your sig.

You can just copy the same x360ce config files into the folder for each game you install rather than re-configuring each time. Still a bit of a pain in the ass but at least it'll be seen as a 360 controller at that point.

Nice one, Sony!

Yea you do need a windows version xbox 360 controller or razer controller. Dualshocks are tought to use on pc's. You can order a basic model which works beautifully for about $30.

This program isn't working properly. The right stick seems to trigger the left trigger on the 360 pad. And my left stick doesn't seem to be moving properly according to the 360 controller picture.

Does anyone else have another solution??
