What is the best "Palm Grip" mouse for FPS?

#1PsychoticFuryPosted 11/2/2013 12:22:52 PM
I use a combination of the palm grip and claw grip.. I rest my palm, but arch my fingers for better twitch-clicking. I tried purchasing a Zowie AM-GS, but I hate the shape of it and can't get used to it.

I'm currently using a Razer Naga and I quite enjoy the shape of the mouse, but I'd like to find a mouse with a better sensor.

I'm using a SteelSeries QcK mousepad, if that matters at all.

Does it matter which one? I'm seeing three different ones. 2013 Ergonomic, 3500 Black and the "Infrared".

IMO, The G400S fits a palm users best because of it's shape.

the ridge that sticks out on the front right side is obnoxious as hell

all 3 big mice I listed are better for different hands and grips

G9x with the smaller grip. (it comes with 2)

Only thing is, for me at least, by using a palm grip I have a hard time reaching the forward most of the side buttons. (not really an issue except in MMO's and then I usually just bind auto-run to it vs. something more useful)

Fully weighted I can crank the DPI up and still get really good fine control in games that need it. (FPS's for example)

G9x is claw-grip design, though. Yeah, you can use it for palm but the same is true of any mouse.

This.

Logitech G400S is the best ergonomic palm-grip mouse you can get sensor wise.
The DeathAdder has a perfect sensor as well, but odds are the scroll wheel will break on you in a few months and the side buttons feel extremely cheap.
Zowie EC 1 (can't remember if it's perfect, but it's close to it if it isn't).
Roccat Savu (smaller than the G400S by a pretty good margin. Can be used for claw or palm, or kind of a hybrid between the two like your grip.
