It's rivals Android tablets at menial workloads.

Ouch. I feel sorry for people who have to use it even longer now.

I was looking at it, but it just doesn't seem particularly useful for the price. The fact that they are charging as much as a full laptop for decent spec doesn't help either.

It has the specs of a typical Haswell ultrabook and has excellent build quality. Not to mention it has a wacom digitizer for pen-input which is going to useful for a lot of people. At its price point I'd say it's a strong competitor, I'm not sure what else you expect.

It is a full laptop, that's why... it's an Ultrabook with a touchscreen, no keyboard (out of the box) and a full Windows OS, as opposed to most tablets that have an ARM CPU and a mobile OS, e.g. iOS, Android, Windows RT.

I'm personally very interested in it because of the wacom digitizer. Unfortunately, don't think it could handle most of my photoshop files that I usually work on but it seems pretty ideal for smaller files.
