I have not played the console version.

P.S. I'm aware that a controller is required for the time being.

Not yet.

It's basically exactly the console version at this point. No PC controls at all.

Personally I think the game is awful. It feels like it was clearly made for the dudebro crowd of the Xbox 360 where it came from.

PC controls are basically finished and included, game launches officially soon. I enjoyed it, but in my opinion it's way too easy, however it's a pretty big point of contention on the forums. Some people find it either way too easy (myself) while others find it brutally hard.

lionheart post.

Sounds like it's not optimized for PC in any way and doesnt support proper PC controls and features.
It's an early access game, just wait for them to finish it.

I can't say it any slower bro. It's in writing.

I can try to write in crayon though.

this.

people saying otherwise just proves they don't have it or have kept themselves up to date with it since its release on early access over a month ago.

PC hardware doesn't need to match console hardware in price when PC gamers save literal thousands from the software they buy. http://www.steamgamesales.com/

I really want it to be good, but this really looks like the kind of piss poor console port that makes me rage.

The port is fine. Not fantastic but it's decent. Even in it's "incomplete" state it ran great and had few issues. I haven't started it lately to see if they included any more graphical options, which were limited initially.
