Why is cmd so bad in comparison to Linux/GNU/Unix terminals?

Has nothing to do with the source of Windows. It's a separate program, not part of the OS

We're talking about command line utilities. They aren't part of the windows shell, they're just run from it

What annoys me the most is that you cant copy and paste into cmd or powershell other than that I have to say I don't really miss a thing in it.

Of course you can copy and paste, but it's not as easy as you may be used to. You can't do Ctrl+C or Ctrl+V, that's all.
To copy, right-click inside the cmd window and pick Mark. You can then use your mouse to select what you want to copy. Once it's selected, hit Enter. You can then paste that anywhere else.
To paste inside cmd, just right-click and pick Paste.

It's even easier in PS -- you can just take your mouse and highlight what you want to copy and hit Enter. To paste, just right-click.

What is wrong with windows command line? It does everything that you would need to do with it easily and if you have to do something more advanced there is vb.

I still wonder why I used Linux Mint for a while until my laptop broke and use the raspberry pi and have found no advantage in the CLI unless it is to run a script/batch file. Well with the pi its usefull for remote access but that is more a server thing.
