Do you have a OS serial you could reuse?

As far as just what goes in the case (no OS, m+kb, monitor, etc) $700 is more than enough to get a decent gaming rig.

Assembling it yourself is as easy as learning English, It aren't that hard.

Pretty much this, you can build a beast for $700 if you already have peripherals and Windows.

the 8.1 oem is much better than win 7 buy first before saying win 8 is bad
