No it doesn't. It makes the game more flexible.
Because they don't like the extremely slow, boring pace and pointlessly massive passive skill tree.
The pace is fine. If you want something faster, the new CoD comes out soon. The passive skill tree is fine the way it is.
It doesnt make it more flexible, it removes any reason to replay the game. I can pick a big ass Marauder and march around with a bow and cast ice spells and summoning zombies if I want, if I can do that, why would I want to play the game again?
There are no special spells or abilities only one class can get, that ruins classes.
Personally, I didn't get a chance to enjoy it, because after taking forever to find a character name that was available, I played for maybe 10 minutes before the server dropped me back to the server select screen. Mandatory online for what is effectively a single-player game is pretty much the fastest way to kill my interest - especially if you don't have your s*** together with your servers so they're constantly unstable.
