What speakers are you guys using, how do you like them?

Currently, I have 2 Edifier Exclaim e10 speakers hooked up to my laptop. The highs and mids sound crisp, but anyone looking for just bass should look somewhere else.

I am using the Energy Classic Take 5.0 set of satellites and center speakers

Polk PSW10 Subwoofer

Denon AVR-3801 Receiver

I have that same sub. I'm happy with my bass, but I wish I spent a little more on the satellites.

Some old-ass Creative 2.1 Speakers I bought for $30 when CompUSA was closing down.

They still sound perfectly fine.

My speakers are Corsair SP2500's.

My sound card is an Asus Xonar Essence STX.

But I use my headphones 99% of the time, and they are Audio Technica ATH-M50S'.

I'd recommend all three of those pieces, but none of them are 'cheap' pieces.

Audioengine A2 at my desk and I love it.

Audioengine A5+ with the Audioengine S8 in the living room, and it is fantastic.

My kludged together system is:

4x Klipsch Quintet satellite speakers, +1x center channel
Yamaha YTS-SW120 Subwoofer
Sony MHC-MG510AV-50 Disc CD changer/HTIAB receiver.

The subwoofer I got for like $5 (Well, $15 at auction, with a cheapo receiver, and 300 disc Sony CD changer). Receiver I got from a friend at work for free (He was upgrading, and throwing it out years ago). The satellites I bought on Woot for like $180 or so new.
