K is for overclocking. So what the hell is X for? Do we need an equation to figure it out?


You can overclock a non-K model, it's just not an unlocked modifier for the base clock.

EDIT: Oh, I'm not sure about Haswell nowadays, but the older non-K's had a few things you could adjust to OC within the BIOS to an extent.

K is for an unlocked multiplier. X is for more shaders and higher base clocks. Do you guys not know how to figure out anything by yourselves?
