Hey guys, I was thinking about upgrading my HD4850, I've had this thing for a long time now and I think it's past time for a replacement. I've been gaming a lot lately and plan on playing some new games as they get released so I want some better performance, I'm truly tired of low-settings. ---
I Would like to spend around $150-200, it's not much, I know, but it will have to do.
I've been reading about the new line of AMD cards, but from what I gather the best $200-$250 card is the gtx 760? What's the best GPU under $200? Would it be worth it to spend the extra ~$50 on a gtx 760 opposed to a ~$150-$200 GPU? Or what?! Help. --- Here's some of the games I play and plan on playing: Skyrim (mods/ENB) Assassin's Creed 3 and Black Flag Splinter Cell Blacklist Far Cry 3/BD Fallout NV (mods) Tomb Raider The Witcher 2 DXHR GTA V (Whenever that will be...) etc.
Do you think it would be wise to buy anything now? With Black Friday/Cyber Monday or whatever coming up, are there generally good deals on GPUs online? I don't live near any good electronic stores so I have to buy online.
I want to get the best dollar-to-performance possible, I don't get to upgrade too often, so if you think I should just wait, I will.
What would be really helpful, is if I could get a card that came with AC Black Flag, that would be excellent. --- Fallout: Nuka Break http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q9UwlAAnlmg Watch it! Love it? Support it! Fan Film
Spend 300 bucks on the R9 280x and call it a day. The R9 280x is very similar to the 7970's performance level. --- "Here is a trustworthy saying that deserves full acceptance: Jesus came into the world to save sinners--of whom I am the worst." - 1 Timothy 1:15
