Yes I would. I play Halo 4 with some of my buddies on the xbox, and while it is cool as a PC gamer to hate any console franchise, Halo is some of the best multiplayer fun I have had in gaming.

I'd hate if they made it Windows 8 exclusive.

I'd hate to downgrade from 8.1.

I'd play it if it supported windows 7, but if it supported windows 8 only, it would have to wait until i got a new PC. I ain't upgrading my OS just for a game, and if they try the halo 2/vista extortionary tactics, i'll go without for the mean time.

Considering I haven't played 2, 3, 4, or anything between...nope.

I'd buy Forza 5 though!

I'd have to actually wait and see what they do with Halo 5. I found Halo 4 more than a little disappointing. The campaign was just about finding the next station to press X at to activate the next cut scene. The cut scenes were done fairly well, but I can watch those on YouTube if that's going to be the highlight of the campaign. The multiplayer was the most 'eh' yet. I wouldn't call it bad, but the lighting was horrendous (probably a limitation of the waning 360, I'll grant, shouldn't be much of a problem on the Xbone or a PC). The 'perks', 'killstreaks', and loadouts also left a bit of a sour taste in my mouth. Halo was doing fine without trying to emulate Call of Duty. The vehicle/weapon balance was also pretty off. I don't have particularly high hopes for Halo 5.

Since I'm on windows 8 anyway, I would get it during a sale as long as it doesn't require a paid subscription to XBL for non-online features (Halo 4 requires Gold for Spartan ops, even the ones that come with the game disc).

Wow. Where the hell have I been? Glad I never picked it up then.
You get it started, and I'll run you over. That's the best plan I can think of.
