The GTX 780Ti only gets 30fps in AC IV @ 1600p

We'll have to see what the next batch of drivers might do for performance gains in the game. But I'm not too worried about it, since it's 30fps in 1600p with a 780ti I'm not too worried about playing it on a 680 at 1080p

Wouldn't Witcher 2 on maximum mean ubersampling? Blacklist and MP3 (and apparently AC4) are harder to run than that? Huh.

The Witcher 2 is no longer hard to max. I play with everything maxed, including ubersampling, at 1080p with my GTX 780.

You say that like your card is a low-end or mid-range card - of course you can max it if you drop $600-1000 on a video card. Most people aren't using $600 video cards though, so it is still a fairly demanding title.

Well, I mean compared to other demanding games, The Witcher 2 is no longer at the top and considered "hard to max" even by enthusiasts.

I get ~20fps on the Witcher 2 with a GTX 780 on 1440p.

Weird. The image in the OP shows the average being around 45 fps @ 1600p. I know that's with a 780 Ti and not a normal 780, but your performance shouldn't be much worse, especially with the resolution being less.

Yeah, and I really don't understand the big deal about ubersampling, the effects seem to be subtle at best and it absolutely destroys performance.

It's basically just there to inflate requirements.

Isn't ubersampling basically just their word for supersampling?

Probably perfectly. These cards are overkill for 1080p.
