How do I even fix it? It usually happens when I have more than 20 tabs open or so.

I've went through the troubleshooting from the Mozilla site and it's not helping.

I was having a ton of problems with firefox, but I think that was because I had an old Install of firefox and every upgrade went directly on top of the old one (carrying over settings and crap that I actually had hoped to discard in the new version)... ultimately I decided to try out Pale moon and that was like the fresh start I always wanted (while still being able to retain stuff like bookmarks).

I'd say give pale moon a shot.

My firefox has busted itself on 2 of my 3 machines, I've given up on it.

I've switched to Chrome now.

Something can get corrupted or it may one of your extensions/addons

Clear the cache, do a complete reinstall or get rid of your addons and see if the problems persist. All browsers are susceptible to some issues. For me , it was actually chrome that kept having issues to the point where i decided to just go back to firefox. No doubt there was some fix, but I was too lazy and prefer some of the features as well as the interface firefox offers.

He's been back for a little while now. I've seen him on CE lately, anyway.

I seriously hate Firefox. For my work, our back end doesn't work with IE because the programmers are idiots. So I had to use Firefox. For video conferencing, we use a Flash based program. I have so many issues with Adobe and Firefox. I installed MANY times, both Firefox and Adobe.

I switched to Chrome and never looked back. Works with everything.

**** Firefox.

You probably want to do a clean install. I have been getting script crashes on Facebook in Firefox over the past month or so. It's very annoying.
