I want to blow things up, and I've been reading that bf4 is crashing a lot and overall broken. Is that true or is it mostly fine?

And this board is better than the bf4 board to ask this and you all know it.

Still broken, unfortunately. It will be great when it's fixed, but who knows when that will be.

apparently EA rushed the game so it would go out before CoD, that's why is so bugged, well hopefully when there's a sale the game is fixed

yeah, my plan was to buy it when its on sale for around $30 or less if its bugged during the launch window.

I knew it would be bad since the day they announced milking the series.

The servers I play on don't crash anymore and I don't get that rubberbanding lag anymore either but the game client still crashes for me every now and then..

It's in the state that even as someone that owns it and wants to be playing it, I'm seriously considering waiting a month and seeing if it's fixed before continuing. Probably won't, but I'm considering it.

Netcode, crashes, sound issues....It's a nightmare right now. Hell there's a gun that can break sound for everyone on the server if it's fired, that's how borked it is right now.

It took a year before most of the major issues were ironed out with BF3.

It'll probably take more than a month

Still smoother than the bf3 launch, at least in my experiences. Most of the headaches seem to be on 64 man servers, which isn't ideal for much of anything but conquest large anyway. Haven't seen a server crash since the second day and I'm relatively sure the qbu88 isn't breaking sound anymore considering I've died to more than one today.

And stop with this idiocy about milking the series, it's straight ignorant considering the release history.

The weird thing is that the game is incredibly smooth ever since I updated to 8.1. I don't know why as I was experiencing the same broken online experience everyone else was having when I was on 7. I upgraded to 8.1 and everything has been 100x smoother. I would even go so far as to say that it is much, much better than bf3 ever was. At least for me. I don't know if 8.1 is the reason, or if the servers have just gotten better, but judging from other people's comments, I'm guessing it's the former. Just what I've been experiencing.
