I have a Asus Maximus IV extreme and a 2600k, if I want to upgrade to 4770k or Hasweel, do I have to buy another motherboard?

Yes and to be honest there's not a ton of reason to upgrade that CPU just yet anyway. Are you unhappy with its performance or do you just feel obligated to upgrade to a newer gen cpu? --- When I'm Miqo'te http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h3LGf9SSWrU

Yes, you must change your motherboard. The i7-2600K uses the LGA 1155 socket. Haswell CPUs such as the i7-4770K use LGA 1150 which is not compatible with LGA 1155. I agree that the upgrade wouldn't be worthwhile, though. --- -What is best in life? -To crush your enemies, see them driven before you, and to hear the lamentation of the women.
Got battlefield 4 but even with a titan sometimes it drops ro 40 something on framerate on multiplayer, I thought it was the processor. --- Gamertag: Alehappy

The game is having some performance issues with all configurations. It's not just you. There are people with multi-gpu rigs dipping that low. --- When I'm Miqo'te http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h3LGf9SSWrU
