My Samsung is on the fritz, I think the LCD backlight might be ready to go out.
Anyway, I want something with a higher pixel density and refresh rate than a standard 1080P TV. 27" computer monitors have 1440P resolution and are quite common. So why is it so hard to find something bigger? You would think bigger displays should be capable of handling a higher resolution.
I want something in the 50" range that will accept a 120hz signal input. Unfortunately, there doesn't seem to be any middle ground between a standard 1080p LCD TV and a fancy 4K TV with all the bulls*** I don't need like 3d capabilities, wifi, apps, etc... All i need is a simple display, no TV tuner, and 1 or 2 inputs.
Seeing as how PCs are the only way to get true 4K content right now, you would think 4K TVs would be more PC friendly. --- Kelemvor Lyonsbane

I guess no one makes them then. Maybe if the Steambox does well manufacturers will make a large monitor more appropriate for gaming. --- Kelemvor Lyonsbane
