What changes or features (or removal of them) do you feel that google would have to make in order to get you to ragequit youtube and use another website for your video viewing needs?

There's an endless amount of content already on the website run by one of the largest corporations in the world with the funds and personnel to maintain and keep it in good standing. It provides an outlet for many people that websites like Vimeo haven't been able to come close to adopting.

It has its flaws but it's the best thing we have and it would take a very substantial jump to switch away from it.

Paid subscription, that's it. I don't understand all the hate, you don't pay for it, the general functionality remains. I don't care about comments.

the only thing that confuses me is how the hell people are supposed to find new stuff uploaded on a daily basis.

i used to use charts and most popular video of the day/week/month but now with all the recommendations and child-like handholding and **** i just stick with what i know.
PC hardware doesn't need to match console hardware in price when PC gamers save literal thousands from the software they buy.

If video game footage and all the channels that use video games are banned then that would be enough to rage quit.

Annoying ads keep popping up in vids 24/7
Ridiculous demand for id confirmation(and nigh-harassing advertisement for merging with google account)

There're plenty more but these two are the recent development that managed to irk me to the point of looking for other alternatives.

It's hard to switch away from YouTube. Even if half of us hate it, there's an immense amount of content on there that'll bring us back, and people link to it all the time. Until almost everyone stops making content, we're kind of stuck.
