Wasteland 1 now available!

So I took part in the Planescape: Tides of Numenera kickstarter, I pledged the $45 so I get both Planescape and Wasteland 2. Part of Wasteland 2 is that you get the first for free, and now it is also available on GOG! What are you waiting for!?!?

Ah yes, shooting mutants and making them 'explode like a blood sausage'... I remember playing that 20 years ago. It probably hasn't aged well, EGA graphics and all.

Looking forward to WL2 though.

Even if it hasn't aged that well, it's still fun to play.

Hmm... I supported both Wasteland 2 and Tides of Numenera... I wonder if this means I get two copies of wasteland? I already got the steam version...

Did you pledge for the "I want Wastelands 2 too" tier on Numenera? I'd assume not if not.

Let strength be granted, so the world might be mended.

I just woke up from a well-needed sleep to find this thread has 5 pages on it - Wow!

To answer the couple questions about the ramdrives overall: Think about this...

The speed increases you see when gaming (eg, no fps drops in super active areas, loading times faster, zoning/map loading/battleground entering faster), remember how all of those were massively impacted when you went from a HD -> SSD? SSDs are around 5-10x faster than a HD. Now imagine a drive that is ~50-200 times faster than a HD. The whole smoothness of a game, immersion being full due to no slowdowns, super fast loads, etc. The whole reason to get a faster drive is insanely magnified with a ramdisk.

Lol, 5 pages. Adjust your maximum post per page settings. Also, wrong topic.

It's an old game so it will look like an old game and play like one too. If you have no interest in classic gaming then just move on and don't even bother making comments like "it hasn't aged well" because no ****. You either still love classic gaming or you don't and these comments serve no purpose other than to start a flame war on forums with fans.
