I built a PC just over a year ago and I have 670s in SLI. I didn't realise how quickly the PC component market advanced (never followed it until I built mine), I know what I have will last me a long while yet, but since I built mine the Titan, 700 series and now the the 780ti have come out, which already makes my PC old tech!

Your 670 sli easily beats them.

Easily? Not the 780Ti…

I thought the 690 was made of two 660s? Is it two 670s?

The 690 and 7990 are beating it by 7%, SLI 670s is going to be below those. I'm not sure what clocks those were based on though, I'm assuming stock, and a pair of 670s should be able to be pushed a bit further than a 690, relatively speaking, but either way it's not really 'easily' beating the 780ti, especially since some games don't scale as well with SLI, or possibly don't support it at all.

lower clock 680s, 2 680s would beat a 690.

so its safe to say it's around the performance of a 670 sli setup

yup, same performance.. so sli 670s > 780ti

We can't know for sure, but I'm hoping it will be at least 20% faster than a fully enabled GK110 chip, so that I could look forward to the upgrade over the Titan I currently own. The one thing that we do know, however, is that it's probably going to be based off the Maxwell architecture, and thus not a rebrand.
