I've recently had MSE alert me to the fact that I have a virus. It's telling me the virus is called Ainslot.A
When discovered, MSE will quarantine it, but then it shows up as being a threat again after another scan. What are my options now to remove it? I've disconnected the computer from the Internet for now to hopefully minimise damage, but what is my next step?

Cheers

Poor kids still using MSE even after Microsoft said they were abandoning serious dev on it.

Anyways, your infected, MSE probably not killing the process.

Try a better virus scanner. There are several to choose from.

Not sure if malwarebytes does viruses, does it?

It does.

EDIT: In fact, I'd recommend using it for problems like this.

Ahh that would make sense, I've been out of the loop for a while so missed that about MSE, last I heard it was the go to for security. I'll give malware bytes a go now, thanks!
