ok ive played around a little bit running smooth no dips even in hectic battles on amd 8320 and gtx670 configuration all settings on high, though running it at 1366x768 until my replacement monitor comes in but still a vast improvement from what it used to run at.

Considering how it used to run, I think anything would have to be an improvement. Still doesn't fix the aimlessness and lack of win conditions though

Still runs like total crap on my laptop.

MASSIVE improvements on my desktop though. I can now run it on almost all high (only particles turned to low) and I can get 30+ FPS 99% of the time now. Turn shadows off and I get more, but screw it, shadows are worth 5-10 FPS when they make the game so darn good looking and you're already used to playing at 30 FPS.

May finally let the game update so I can check this out. Not sure how much of a performance gain I will get with it since im running a i5 and if it's carry over from the ps4 optimization then surely it's for AMD cpu's.

It used to only run on 2 threads. Odds are they just spread the workload over more threads. Intel or AMD shouldn't make much of a difference, outside of 6xxx and 8xxx processors having more threads to work with than an i5.

Yes it is now merciful even to low end systems

Although I must ask, is it still really that empty or am I looking at the map wrong? Sirisian says 800 people were on Mattherson when I was playing but the biggest battle "hotspot" was >only< 30~ NCR vs 20~ Vanu

I think Sirisian data isn't live. It's supposed to be more for historical purposes. If there insn't an alert and the whole server is on a continent you aren't, try playing between 6PM and 10PM eastern time. If you're on earlier than that and don't have a significant investment in that character, reroll on Woodman or Miller, later than that try Connery(which has the largest population anyways). Briggs is kind of dead and the ping to AU is much worse than the European servers in The Netherlands.

I didn't notice a single difference. That's because I never had problems running the game. Now I still seem to be capped at 58-59ish FPS however.

It's off, it's always been like that I'd always be capped at under 60fps.

never had any FPS issues at launch but game didn't catch me so I uninstalled but wondering if it's improved any. Having a big ass FPS game that's not a 60$ BF4 purchase could be nice to have
