I didn't notice a single difference. That's because I never had problems running the game. Now I still seem to be capped at 58-59ish FPS however.
Sure your Vsync didnt get turned back on?
It's off, it's always been like that I'd always be capped at under 60fps.
First, turn off the frame smoothing option. It was just added this last patch. Second, go to the middle of nowhere and look at the ground. I'll bet the FPS goes over 60 and the in game counter(Alt + F) will tell you that you're now GPU limited for the first time ever. Basically, you need more overclock on that 2500k.

Oh my god. I have 100 FPS improvement in some areas. When in non-intensive parts my FPS hovers around 180 and in big fights it goes to about 110. This makes me a bundle a joy with my 1440p 120hz monitor. Everything maxed btw.
Could be because I have AMD FX 8350 - HD 7950 in my system and the game used to 'hate' AMD. So, the time has come.

I tend to get around 40 FPS in battles. Occasionally it'll dip to 25, but that's only in 100+ man matches with tons of smoke spam and crap. You know, the most demanding possible conditions you could possibly create in that game. Turning shadows off brings me over 30 again.
Not bad though, i actually get higher FPS on all high than i did on a mix of settings when i had my 580.
