My H60 isnt handling my 8350 as well as it should, and I keep hearing the H100i and the Kraken X60 are the best ones. I plan on running it the same as I am right now, since I didnt notice any improvements while I had it on 4.8ghz. I know a custom cooler might be better, but I dont want to spend that much on a cooler. I am leaning more towards the kraken than the H100i, but what I looked around says that I will not get that much of a boost from my H60, and under load, HWM says my cpu is at 60c. Just looking for opinions and seeing if anyone know a better cooler. I also do not want to get a air cooler just because of the strain on the mobo since the noctua is damn massive.

I did. A LONG time ago. As soon as I got it in fact. I am currently running a cougar on it, but I just think that my 8350 is running too hot for it. So I am thinking about a good upgrade and then giving my H60 to my brother for his A10

Maybe for Intel, it is a little on the hoy side for AMD since their chips have lower heat tolerances.

4.8 GHz OC and running 60c at load is fine, even for an AMD

No, I had it running on 4.6ghz and now I bumped it down to 4.4ghz. I also keep hearing that HWM is off by a good amount on the FX 8300 chips tho.

Try to find a Swiftech H220

http://www.ncix.com/products/?sku=79583&vpn=H220&manufacture=Swiftech&promoid=1294

you may not be able to get it shipped to the states though, theres a patent suit filed against it.
