Console gamers are too stupid to tell the difference between 30fps and 60 fps.

They might as well not bother with a native 1080p at all.

Nor would they bother with actually having playable controls for FPSes. I few months ago, I played an FPS on console again for the first time in years and it was actually horrible. Mouse+KB all the way.

Modern PC gamers are like Jehovah's witnesses. They keep knocking on doors to remind the world they still exist.

That's actually a pretty good analogy.

The sad thing about the above posts is that they make the exact opposite point of the one they mean to.

1. Native 1080p/60 fps is the "theme" of the next-gen of consoles and is therefore important to console gamers in that respect.
2. You could use Mouse/KB to play fps games on consoles since last gen.

You kids are just peasants pretending to be PC gamers. The master race deems you disgraceful, and sentences you to playing FPS games on Nintendo consoles with motion controls. That should teach you.

people can play what they want.

just don't pretend you have any idea of PC pricing, options and software availability when speaking as a console-only gamer.

that is the main problem.

console gamers are like teenagers(literally and figuratively).
they think they know everything and feel the need to share their opinion with the world yet throw temper trantums when they're continously proven wrong.

You must be confused. People desperately begging for attention while spamming "pc master race reporting for duty!" when nobody even bothers to mention them are not console gamers.

I hope I've cleared the misunderstanding.

It has nothing to do with preference.

Preference is just something console peasants invent in order to avoid cognitive dissonance.

Oh dear, that is called trolling. It is when someone makes an erroneous statement that is certain to draw out a certain reaction out of people with insecurities or an inferiority complex.

I am in error however, as I ignorantly assumed that you would be able to differentiate between troll topics and desperate cries for attention.

i'm going to just assume that you're being intentionally ignorant if you think topics like those are purely meant for trolling and not actual held beliefs.

eg. http://www.gamefaqs.com/boards/691087-playstation-4/67824269

oh and i also think it's incredibly stupid to think that all people who go "pc master race" are actually being serious and not trolling console gamers themselves.

That's a reassurance topic. Not to mention that all points in it are true. Unless you're saying console gamers are desperately begging for attention in their own forums.

Anyway, attention is something console gamers have no need of. Most gaming shows are almost exclusively about them and console wars are important business events. The fact most important western publishers now use consoles as their primary platform further supports that fact.
