Fallout 4 wishlist

An engine that isn't based on Gamebryo, has half way decent animation, and isn't a complete buggy mess. I also hope Bethesda isn't the one developing it, though I doubt that will happen.

I like the part where aliens are canon now.
ADD, no. Where is the thread for Fallout OCD players?

If there is Fallout 4.... drivable vehicles... like tanks.

It isn't Battlefield. The problem is vehicles don't really work in the modern Fallout worlds. In Fallout 2 it was for faster travel on the map screen (as well as some car side quests) but it takes quite a bit of work to get the parts to fix it and you need to keep using a certain energy weapon ammo type to fuel the car. In the 3D games there's usually too much destruction and also you still have random enemy encounters but they spawn in real time so that screw things up like avoiding enemies that you should be fighting or missing small details in the scenery.

I'd be interested in seeing some more detail about the Commonwealth. Fallout 3 introduced this in a side quest on Rivet Town or whatever it was called, the huge boat slit in half. They have very lifelike androids and other incredible feats of science, mostly worked on at MIT. I'd imagine gaining access to "The Institute" would require a lot of work, similar to finding a way into the New Vegas Strip. Also I would like to see more places that weren't ravaged by atomic bombs. Zion National Park in New Vegas DLC was really interesting, more tribals akin to Fallout 2 and the remnants of the unfinished Black Isle Fallout 3 being told such as meeting The Burned Man. Since they already did most of the original Fallout 3 story in New Vegas, aside from the mad scientist boss and the protagonist waking up in prison, most of that Utah based story was told like the NCR vs the Legion, it seems less likely we'd see Utah in a full length game.

There is talk of a Fallout movie.

I have no idea. I would love Fallout 4.

Less focus on FPS-esque combat, it's an RPG, I wish it could feel more like an RPG.

More explore-able areas.

Keep the factions instead of just a good-neutral-evil karma system.

Drive-able vehicles would be nice, but I probably wouldn't use it, unless they took out fast travel completely.

Other than that, unless it is completely different from Fallout NV, I will get it anyways.

My wish is that it's handed over to Obsidian to develop.

This exactly

And just a new non-Gamebryo derivative engine, and I'm happy

-Get rid of VATS

-Have Obsidian make it.
We should take away their metal boxes!

Why would you get rid of VATS?

That's like the main thing keeping it from being a strictly FPS game.

Oh oh oh! I would like a world that isn't as boring as watching paint dry on walls! I guess that means Bethesda isn't making it.

My only wish is for it to not be a buggy POS that eventually kills your save. Lost a 100+ hrs save in FO:NV due to the infinite loading bug which happened to every save after a certain point in my game and none of the usual bandaid fixes could fix it.
