Why are indie and P2W games sold by GoG.com?

They wanted to be known for something more than vintage games, I imagine. I don't particularly see it as selling out, personally. They still offer the good old games, as well.

So its okay to sell out then?

It's not selling out if they still have old game releases. Don't be such a fool.

They haven't released a classic game in weeks, only indie crap.

Since you're just dismissing all indies games as crap, I'm kinda surprised you aren't dismissing old games for the same reason.

The majority are crap which should have been released as online flash games. There are just a few that stand out over the others like Terraria or Hotline Miami but the vast majority are horrible.

How does one profit from releasing a flash based game?

ad revenue. Kongregate for example will pay you 25% base generated from your games and the percentage increases if you implement their API into your games.

Because you can only make so much from old games and as a business they are out to make money. They have no sold out, they just diversified their stock to include more games either. I'm sorry the idea of supplementing a limited market that takes time for them to gain anything new in with other things that give a constant stream of new products doesn't appeal to you, but you need to stop complaining. Or in the case of you talking about new releases you need to stop lying.

Oh wait you're that troll that thinks you sucking at Skullgirls somehow means it will die soon and it sucks. Move along folks.

And a lot of nonindie games also suck, which usually leads to them not being on any major distributors or only on consoles. You know, shovel ware. A majority of ALL games are horrible.

Yes, it is OK for a business to make more money at absolutely no cost to the customer.

Idiot.

Why does steam sell something besides games?* Why does Walmart also sell groceries? Why does 7-11 also sell milk?

Because people will buy it, and it makes them more money.

*I remember whiny babies complaining about that too. "OH NOES, Steam is selling music software and budgeting software! THE END IS NIGH!" (except they were too dumb to spell Nigh so it came out like Bill Nye instead)

GoG is selling "New" games for the same reason the "Humble" Store has Splinter Cell Blacklist and a handful other big-budget titles on it.

Money.

Technically it's a legume which does make it in the same family as a pea
