BF4 or COD:Ghosts?

I've played both, and BF4 is by far the better choice.

I know CoD mainly gets it's hate because it's essentially the sports franchise game of FPS, but the games themselves aren't that bad. Ghosts however, is a step in the wrong direction. They removed a ton of old gamemodes (CTF, Demolition, Sabotage, Search and Destroy (although they're adding that soon apparently), maps have no flow and way too much verticality, you constantly get killed from behind and spawn infront/behind other players.

BF4 in it's current state is pretty buggy, and doesn't run amazingly (I'm getting roughly 40FPS on all medium settings with my setup at the moment) but it's not too bad of a game. It's essentially BF3 with a few well needed improvements, but what they've added/changed feels fairly worthy of the price tag, in my opinion.

I'd say that runs good with your set up seeing as it's dated.

Phenom II X6 1075T @ 3.5GHz - 4GB DDR3 - 120GB SSD - GTX 460 1GB

Highly doubtful considering I can hardly hit 40 fps on medium and my specs are more up to date than yours.

BF4 is suffering from an awful launch, and there are some issues that they will need to sort out. However, it is still far more interesting and fun than playing Ghosts.
