Remove url from chrome auto-complete?

#1claudekennilolPosted 11/18/2013 9:26:05 AM
So somehow "gamefaqs.com_/" got into my chrome auto-complete for my url bar. It's incredibly annoying as that's obviously the wrong address. How can I go about removing this one entry?

You can try looking in your history and deleting the entry from it. If that doesn't work, then I don't know of anyway to clear it except to clear all history related data.

Highlight it and press delete on your keyboard.

I think shift + delete does the trick.

I hate that. Apparently you make interfaces easier to use by hiding everything behind more menus or obscure key presses? Well, some people like Linux or Git for the command line, so, okay.
