I finally saved up enough money to get a gaming computer. I decided to buy a pre-made pc since I have no experience building my own. Also this is my first one, so I was hoping I get some advice and suggestions.

My budget is $1,200-1,299.

if you don't feel like building your own, Sony and Microsoft have some pretty decent prebuilts at a fraction of your budget. Look into it.

If you're not confident building your own, ecollegepc.com builds them for roughly 50 dollars more than you would pay for the components and build it yourself. As long as you don't have a GPU installed that is. But just ask them to install the power cables FOR a GPU and route them where they need to go. Cause installing a GPU is braindead easy. Slide the card in the slot the only way it will go, hook in the power cables, and install drivers. Bam. Done.

But the thing is I don't what I should be looking for. The only things I know decently about gaming pc are RAM and graphics card.

Ask for guidance on this board, there are many users that will point you in the right direction. I didn't have a clue just over a year ago and help here and on YouTube another sites gave me all the knowledge I needed to build my own. I now have a beast that I couldn't be happier with.

Someone will help you come up with a build here. I would but I need to get going in like 3 minutes

Great site for it, they have some good deals going right now. Basically aim for a high end CPU (like a 4770k+ if you are open to overclocking) and then see what else you can get while still maintaining 8gb ram.

You can always upgrade the graphics card, ram, and grab an SSD and easily install those later, but if the CPU/Mobo are terrible (or the case) then you'll have to do a lot more work.

This is one of my favorites, the 290 is new and pretty fantastic for the price (graphics card) but it's a little over your range--but it gives you a good idea of what to look like. Any of their deals are great though, and I think they all come with CPU cooling systems included to help OC easily.
