How much better a $270 board can be for voltage regulations and better cpu vdroop(came from a Asrock extreme 3 gen 3 paid $130 for the sabertooth)

looking at your build I would say there are more interesting things you could have done for $270 other than buying an expensive motherboard with a dead socket and no upgrade path. But as long as you are happy.

That's a dead end socket hence the cheap price. I hope you overclock the crap out of it so as to not waste it.

Waiting for another 2 years and money is not a problem, but the other board was. The i5 2500k is still good and I don't see a reason to get a cpu that is 20% faster yet.
