Anyway to keep Firefox from prompting me to install Flash player?

Every time I open a webpage that has some add or another I get a prompt from Firefox asking me to install Flash Player, is there any way to make this stop other then installing flash player?

Install it, then disable it so its like it was never there...

In about:config you can set plugins.notifyMissingFlash to false.

There's also another setting that can be set to not notify you about plug-ins in general that you can read about here:
