More proof of "lolnextgen" being an excuse to crap over PC gamers.

If you look around at the mindset of more than a few people on this board, he's kind of right with his assessment. Which is sort of sad

Did anyone actually read the blurb by the Ubi guy? He basically says there's no reason to optimize games for PC because PCs have so much power to throw around that optimization is a waste of time. Do I care if a game uses 1GB of RAM in Windows, but will run on the PS3/X360 with half that amount? No, because I have 16 GB in my PC, so it doesn't matter.

Ubisoft needs a serious disciplining from Rocksteady, all of the Arkham games run well on near max with native resolution on my crappy laptop.

In other words "if it doesn't run well then you can easily just drop a few hundred bucks on a faster videocard, if the homeless guy down the street from me can max out Crysis 1 then so can every gamer."

And you can't see why that is ****y. Optimizing a game to not run like **** is important because it allows more people to buy the game and thus allows for more profits.
