I suggest you get an SLI ready power supply in case you ever want to run dual gpu. Don't cheap out on case, get one that can provide good wire management and has plenty of space to expand (check neweggtv). I myself got a corsair 500r for $100 (well cheaper actually) and am so glad I did. Motherboards around 150-180 range are good as others have said, just make sure it has good expansion option like extra PCIe slots.
People will tell you that you can't future proof a pc, but from my short short very short time with my new pc, I will tell you that you that you can somewhat future proof with your case, PSU, and motherboard. --- 3ds FC - 3153-4124-1013
Get a much cheaper motherboard($120-$140) and only get 8 gbs of ram, spend the savings on a GTX 780. --- Intel Core i7-4770K | MSI Z87-G45 GAMING | MSI GeForce GTX 780 | G.SKILL Ripjaws Z Series 16GB | 3TB Seagate Barracuda x2 | 256GB Crucial M4 SSD
