Ok, after Saints Row: The Third, and all the silliness they added, I couldn't imagine WHERE they could go with SR4. I mean, The Third had everything already.

Then... aliens! :p

Now, in your opinions, where could they go in SR5? What would you like to see, and how would they expand the series?

To me, I would LOVE if SR5 had an alternate-reality (like seen in Fringe), where things are similar, but with some differences. Would be fantastic if we could visit this alternate reality and see Aisha stil alive, the boss still in a coma, Gat executed, etc.

Personally, I don't think there should be a Saints Row 5.

I enjoyed the first two games, but after that they got too incredibly ridiculous (in my opinion).
I can't even stand Saints Row 3. So I know I would definitely dislike the 4th one.

Alternative dimension
Time travel
Hell
Alien planet

Sadly I think those ideas I just listed would probably happen.

Time travel. The Saints Row series needs time travel. Back to the time of 1935 or so when being a "gangster" was a real thing.

It could have a campaign chasing a villain over 5-10 ages or something.

You should give it a chance. 3 was my least favorite, but I love 4.
If 4 out of 5 people suffer from diarrhea, does that mean the fifth one enjoys it?

Aliens. The entire game is making the Saints intergalactic. I predict a fight against Power Rangers knockoffs working for a Zordon knockoff trying to stop you.

I think this is because Saints Row began to differentiate itself from GTA by going with the comical side of things, it's not for everyone but I do enjoy it.
