I was really debating if I shoulda have went with a 770 and stuck with nvidia, hopefully i don't regret it. Kinda sad over the loss of physx but i'll get over it. nvidia's prices are really not so smart.. 4gb 770 for $400? Good joke. --- http://i.imgur.com/XqIF7rn.gif

not to mention 256 bit. But the R9 290 is a good choice, but I believe most people here would have recommended to wait for after market coolers. --- FX8350 oc'ed 4.6ghz ASRock 990fx Extreme9 16 gigs ddr3 HIS 7870 :( antec 750W NZXT Phantom Full Tower http://imgur.com/DKxtZXP http://imgur.com/I9vdXTk
Yea, that's what I was reading here last night. I did quite a few searches instead of making the same topic that's been made 99 times already. I also read people mention turning up the stock fan because from factory it doesn't go past a certain point?
I think for $400 it's a great choice for price/performance, paid in the $300s for the 570. I do hope I don't have much trouble with drivers...nvidia is definitely good about that. --- http://i.imgur.com/XqIF7rn.gif

I'm hoping this will cause Nvidia to stop being douchebags and price their cards more reasonably...which will make AMD try to match/beat their prices, thus enable me to exchange my 7850 for something more high end. --- Big Money. Big Women. Big Fun. Skillz Ferguson
