SSD specs? What should I look out for?

Using some coupons I can get either for 80 bucks, but Im not sure which specifications to look for to see which SSD is better? Does it really matter? looking at the Samsung EVO and Kingston HyperX.

EVO, as most people are going to say. I have one myself.

As is it significantly faster? Im going to install it on a mate's computer and she just plans on doing things like paperwork and gaming lol.

But if the EVO is really good, I might plan on upgrading to that yummy 1TB EVO.

I don't have an EVO, but I have a Samsung 840 series and it's noticeably better than my Crucial m4.

In what ways? I'm on the fence between m4 and EVO

It was more expensive but it didn't give me any trouble with my legacy 1366 motherboard. The crucial m4 on the other hand. Well, it gave me a lot of trouble and it's performance left much to be desired.

EDIT - I bought the 840 pro, Google tells me it's quite a bit better than the EVO so my comments should probably be ingnored.
