Using old TV as a monitor.

So I just replaced my 27inch, 1080i, 720p TV. And I was wondering, what kind of quality will I get out of it? I know technically my current monitor is running at 1080p because computer monitors are progressive, but I have never seen what a 1080i looks like on a computer. Its a little big for my desk to run my current multi monitor setup, so I was hoping to find out ahead of time before moving all sorts of stuff around.

I wouldnt use it as a primary monitor, but as a secondary screen it would work just fine.

Not sure if I would use it then. Right now I have a 1080 and then two 1050s (I made a bad decision with a smasung a while back).

Might use it for my server then... then hook up my 360 to it and have a good ol man cave.

that's a better alternative anyhow.

720p is superior to 1080i.
