Less than a 660, which is what you should be getting instead.

What are you buying it for? It's a multimedia card not a gaming level card. It will play newer games but at lowest settings.

Considering you can pick up a 6870 or 660 for about $50 on ebay a lot of the time, I would say no more than $20, seriously, the card is worthless even new.

You cannot offer him a "fair" price for it, he's lost out by buying a terrible value card that has no resale value, being the chump that pays him $50 dollar for it does nobody any favours, tell him to chuck it on craigslist, thats where the chumps live.

Also if he is buying a new motherboard it is on an old socket and is totally useless to you considering you can get a new AM3+ for $40 or a new intel socket for $60 (or less with some mad microcentre deals).

He might be upgrading for better features such as crossfire or better overclocking features though so it might be alright.

Ask him what socket it is? or just what the make and model is?

Your cousin is trying to get rid of a crap card so he can get something to actually play games on. Avoid.

$20-30 tops. It's decent for a display out or playing Source games.
