I'm thinking of adding more RAM

#1shdwdrgnixPosted 11/25/2013 1:28:25 PM
right now I have 16GB of RAM and I was wondering if it would be useful to add more up to 64GB?

It will be useful if you have Dimdrive, turn that extra RAM into storage space for faster speeds than a SSD.

Man... What kind of Mobo do you have that supports 64GB of RAM? You must of spent like 400+ alone on it.

No , pointless. Like storage space that is not used, it is just sitting there. Unless there are some specific things you do outside of gaming that make use of that kind of RAM.

tc what os are you running? win 7 home premium only supports 16GB you would need win 7 ultimate/professional or windows 8 to use higher than 16GB.

This question alone tells me you probably don't even need 16GB.

Pretty much. You'd certainly know or really desire more if you were to get more. You wouldn't need to ask.
