Whereas with consoles the only real main selling point between the 2 being which exclusives do they have, PCs have many other reasons than exclusives to make it "worth owning."

For me the best exclusives are usually RTS and other genres you can't use controllers for. If I have to name my favorites it'd be Company of Heroes, StarCraft II, Civilization V, things like that.

I don't play League of Legends or World of Tanks but I'd think a lot of people consider them and games like them good.

Mostly I play games that are way better than the console counterparts, like the TES/Fallout series or Minecraft.

TF2 has never been updated on consoles so it's basically an entirely different game.

Hmm, instead of listing just games, I will list genres, because for me personally, there are too many to list.

Both because of the games (like Starcraft 2) but also because the control scheme on the console does not work as well for the RTS that are on console.

Like LoL Hereos of Newerth or Dota2. Again, the genre is so dependent on mouse and keyboard, that it can not really be translated to console.

-Adventure games. Recent adventure games have been multiplatform. But the best "classics" in the genre, and the best adventure games released in the last 5 years (imo) are all exclusive on the PC.

-Arena shooters. Think of Quake, Tribes and Unreal Tournament. I know they are nowhere near as popular as they once were, but I think that has a lot to do with the fast paced, twitch reflex shooter just not translating to console very well, causing the genre to be abandoned more or less. Still, there are some that love this genre over every other, and still play them religiously on the PC.

-Anything that has to do with simulation. Not exactly my cup of tea, but a lot of games that are simulation from Arma 3 to those flying/plane games are restricted to the PC. I think this should be listed because there are those who play nothing else.

-Turn based strategy games. Like Civilization 5.
