Remote Access Android Device

#1Treason686Posted 11/27/2013 8:22:07 PM
I'm looking around for some remote access software for PC to access an Android device.

This will be on my local network, or even over USB.

Are there any solutions that are reasonably fast? I've tried Droid @ Screen (Which is only a screen mirroring program), and it has a 5000ms response time, which is basically useless.

I don't have root access, but if there's an actual decent program out there that I'll go through the hassle of wiping my phone to get it.

If your looking for a Screen mirroring thing, Im not sure there is one.

But if you want to wirelessly Sync/Add/Manage Files, Airdroid is an option

there are several telnet applications on Android, set up your system to accept incoming telnet connections and configure the host to allow remote control over telnet.

If you want a remote desktop type software, you probably can't get that on android just yet, but it's available for Windows RT.
