I've just dived back into Skyrim for pretty much the first time since playing it after it launched. I put nearly 80 hours into it back then on the Playstation 3 and it was an epic game. I'm having a lot of fun once again this time on PC. It is nice having it run way smoother. Its bittersweet though because I've found with these open world games that I can never quite recapture the magic of exploring the world for the first time. How epic was it when you first faced a dragon or climbed the 7000 steps to High Hrothgar? Its like returning to an old friend but its just not totally the same.

But oh well haha. I'm also playing Pokemon X on the 3DS and I've also started Metro 2033. Not loving that one too much but the atmosphere is quite interesting. I've also started a playthrough of Persona 3 on my Vita which seems like an awesome game so far but I've been neglecting it for some reason. I'll have to get back into that. I start too many games lol. So anyway what are you guys playing? Any thoughts you'd like to share?

I got into the Batman games and now I have an obsession problem. Even took all the promo stuff for Origins from work, and picked up Injustice.

Is there any kind of a storyline to Diablo 3 at all? Its not a series I've ever really looked into much but I just know that it revolves around collecting loot. I don't need story in my games to make it interesting (hello Demon and Dark Souls) but it can make things a little better for me. If the gameplay is addictive and rewarding then it can be a good experience. Is Torchlight II something similar? That could be a cheaper entry point into that style of game for me.

I haven't gotten around to playing Origins yet but those Batman games are some of the best of this generation for me. Just the fact that they're Batman games and are actually good is awesome.

There's a story but it's not all that involved other than shuffling you off from place to place after this enemy or evildoer. I'll be honest, I've owned it since release and played through it at least a dozen times but I couldn't tell you what the story really was other than a rough outline as I skipped most of it as I did with D2 and D1.

Gone Home looks interesting to me. Like the kind of game where you just wanna relax and enjoy the atmosphere.
