Anyone prefer a console over pc?

I dont know if i should even ask this.. i been pc gaming for 20 years now.. but has anyone out there decided that console gamings just easier? No drivers, upgrades (at least for me i upgrade my stuff once a year.. not buy a whole computer but new video card or ram or SSD etc.. every 2 years i upgrade my video card and they always cost more then a console alone)

Maybe its me getting older and having kids run around where just kicking back on the couch seems more relaxing then sitting on the computer playing games..

My buddy bought 2 PS4's with the intent of reselling them.. i just dont know if i can do it or not.

I can't go back to PS3 load times and I'm not spending money on a PS4/XBone

You don't have to upgrade that often. Also, look for sales.

To be honest, those are the reasons I got into PC gaming in the first place. I had (and still have) a big passion for PC hardware and software. Tinkering with settings, overclocking, upgrading, downgrading, messing around with random options from parts with different specs. It makes me feel like a kid in a toy store whenever I open up my case. And things like better graphics and modding and etc are just nice extra benefits for me.

I could see myself getting sick of it eventually though. Just not anytime soon.

No, and in hindsight I really should bought my first desktop PC in 2000, rather than waiting till 2003. I bought a Dreamcast in 2000, which was an okay machine, but had a very short lifespan. Then I bought a PS2 in 2001, which I never really liked or used much. Desktop PC in March 2003. Five years later I weakened and bought a 360, which I shouldn't have bothered with. Sold that in 2011 and then built this PC.

NO MORE CONSOLES FOR ME.

I'm past it now, anyway.

Couldn't bear having to go back to using a controller.

Only games I can justify using a controller on anymore are racing and fighting games. Everything else is better with a KB/M IMO.

Only because of the player count in some online games. But that's because I'm a baddie that enjoys CoD.

So you think platformers are better with kb/m?
